ABGSC acted as joint bookrunner in connection with the EUR 137 million clean-up trade by Altor in Mandatum

On 17 August 2026, Altor Invest 8 AS, a company owned by Altor Fund VI (“Altor”), announced the sale of 22.4 million shares in Mandatum plc (“Mandatum” or the “Company”), representing approximately 4.4% of the Company. The transaction was priced at EUR 6.11 per share, resulting in a total transaction size of approximately EUR 137 million. Following the transaction, Altor no longer holds any shares in the Company.

ABG Sundal Collier acted as joint bookrunner in the transaction, continuing its strong track record of transactions in Mandatum. ABGSC also advised Altor in connection with the acquisition of its initial stake in Mandatum shortly after the Company was demerged from Sampo and separately listed in Q4 2023, underscoring the long-standing involvement with the Company and its shareholders.
