On 25 April, Feminvest, Sweden’s largest hub for female entrepreneurs and investors, held the second edition of its flagship “Fearless” event in Oslo. The event, which was sponsored by the ABG Sundal Collier Women in Finance Foundation, brought together more than 100 participants for an evening of networking, presentations and panel discussions. The aim of the event was to help inspire, educate, and connect entrepreneurs, investors and members of the finance industry.
ABGSC Investment Banking Partner Inga Rakauskaite, who is a member of the Equity Capital Markets team, participated in a panel during the event. The panel took the form of an “investor panel”, offering feedback to two companies who presented their pitches. With her 17 years of experience in the finance industry, Inga drew upon her experience of working across a variety of sectors, advising both early phase and mature businesses, in order to give feedback to the pitch teams. She was joined by Pia Ganeva, founder of Nikita AB, an entrepreneur who has started and scaled several companies from scratch.
The event also featured a Founders Lounge, a dedicated space for participants to showcase their companies and connect with potential customers, investors and like-minded individuals.
The event marked the fourth occasion on which the Foundation has partnered with Feminvest, having previously sponsored Feminvest’s “Fearless” events in Stockholm and Oslo in 2023, and partnered with Feminvest to deliver the “Investment Trends 2024” event that took place at ABG Sundal Collier’s Oslo office in February 2024.
In addition to the Foundation, other sponsors of the 2024 Oslo “Fearless” event included VISA, Selmer, Societe Generale, Bubbleroom and Lagerhaus, among others.
