ABGSC acted as financial advisor to Polaris Private Equity and AAC Capital Partners in connection with the divestment of BabySam

On Friday 18 September 2020, Polaris and AAC announced the divestment of its majority holding in BabySam and its subsidiaries to the Jalsøe-family’s holding company Alt til Barnet Holding ApS. BabySam, the leading Danish baby product retailer, was acquired by Polaris and AAC together with other shareholders in 2008 and transformed from an independent voluntary chain to a capital chain. During the joint ownership, BabySam has completed a turnaround and created a company with growth and profitability in a difficult market environment. In addition, significant investments have been made in the store network, new IT-systems and a new e-commerce platform to support the ambitious omni-channel strategy and BabySam’s leading position within the Danish market for baby products.
