On 8 March 2023, Måsøval Eiendom AS’ (“Måsøval Eiendom”) announced the strategic partnership with Ísfélag Vestmannaeyja hf. (“Isfelag Vestmannaeyja”), one of the largest fishery companies in Iceland, by entering into a subscription and share purchase agreement in relation to its shareholding in Ice Fish Farm AS (“Ice Fish Farm”), one of the leading salmon farmers in Iceland.
To facilitate the transaction, Måsøval Eiendom has established Austur Holding AS (“Austur”) for the sole purpose of holding shares in Ice Fish Farm, which will control 56.1% of Ice Fish Farm, and where Måsøval Eiendom and Ísfélag Vestmannaeyja will have a 70.7% and 29.3% ownership respectively. The transaction values the underlying shares in Ice Fish Farm at NOK 43 per share.
