ABG Sundal Collier acted as Joint Global Coordinator and Joint Bookrunner in the NOK 1.4 billion private placement in Höegh Autoliners ASA and subsequent listing on Euronext Growth Oslo

Höegh Autoliners ASA (“Höegh Autoliners” or “the Company”) announced on Wednesday November 24, 2021 the successful completion of a private placement of new shares. The transaction comprised 65 million shares, including over-allotment of 7.5 million shares, at a price of NOK 21 per share, equating to a total transaction size of NOK 1,365 million. The transaction implies a market capitalisation of approximately NOK 4 billion. The net proceeds from the private placement will primarily be used to finance the equity part for four Aurora vessels as well as general corporate purposes. The private placement attracted strong interest from high quality Nordic and international institutional investors and was multiple times oversubscribed.
Höegh Autoliners is one of the leading global providers of deep-sea RoRo transportation services, operating a fleet of around 40 Pure Car and Truck Carriers (“PCTC”) sailing in global trade systems. With an average carrying capacity of around 6,700 car-equivalent units (“CEU”) per vessel, the Company has the largest average vessel size and lowest emissions in the industry. To accelerate its green transition, expand the fleet and deliver market leading low-to-zero emission transportation services to its customers, Höegh Autoliners has launched a transformational newbuilding program (Aurora class). With a capacity to carry up to 9,100 cars, the Aurora class will be the world’s largest and most environmentally friendly PCTCs.
The Company has applied for, and will, subject to the necessary approvals from the Oslo Stock Exchange, list its shares on Euronext Growth Oslo. The first day of trading on Euronext Growth is expected to be 29 November 2021, and the Company will trade under the ticker code HAUTO.
