ABG Sundal Collier acted as financial advisor to the shareholders of Solcellespesialisten AS in connection with the sale to FSN Capital (“FSN”)

On Tuesday 13 June 2023, it was announced that the owners of Solcellespesialisten have signed an agreement to sell a majority stake in the company to FSN Capital and enter into a partnership for further development of the company.
Solcellespesialisten was founded in 2005 and has since become the leading engineering, procurement and construction (“EPC”) contractor in the rapidly growing Norwegian solar PV space. Based in Fredrikstad, Norway, the company provides the complete value chain link from component manufacturers to turnkey installations and after-market services, leveraging unrivalled project experience, nationwide coverage and industrialized process flow to offer an unmatched value proposition to customers in the commercial, residential, distribution and utility segments.
The partnership, consisting of current shareholders and employees together with FSN, has ambitions to further develop Solcellespesialisten’s strong position within solar system contracting.
The terms of the transaction are undisclosed, and closing is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
