ABGSC acted as sole bookrunner in the SEK 150 million placement of shares in Internationella Engelska Skolan

On Tuesday 9 June 2020, ABG Sundal Collier announced the successful completion of a secondary placement of approximately 2.0 million shares in Internationella Engelska Skolan (“IES”), corresponding to approximately 5 percent of the company, for a total value of SEK 150 million. The price of SEK 73.00 per share was determined through an accelerated book building process. The placement attracted strong interest from high quality and well-renowned institutions. The selling shareholder was founder Barbara Bergström, who remains a shareholder with approximately 13 percent of the shares in IES. A further one percent is owned by the Hans and Barbara Bergstrom Foundation, to which the majority of the Bergströms’ assets are dedicated. The purpose of the foundation is to support projects for enlightenment, education and research, based in Sweden
