ABGSC acted as financial advisor to Stratel and the other shareholders in the sale of Rørosmeieriet to Salvesen & Thams

On Friday 3 July 2020, the owners of Rørosmeieriet announced the sale of approx. 70% of the shareholding in the company to Salvesen & Thams, a Norwegian investment company controlled by Kverva, Bjørn Wiggen, other investors and employees. The new owners will support Rørosmeieriet’s ongoing growth journey based on proud, local food traditions, craftsmanship and heritage.
Rørosmeieriet was founded in 2001 and has become Norway’s leading producer of organic dairy products, with over 25% sales growth p.a. over the last decade. Located at Røros in Norway, the company has created a unique brand based on traditional, natural and premium dairy products. With innovative recipes built on local food tradition and craftsmanship, the dairy is producing everyday premium products sold in grocery stores, at hotels and restaurants, including all Norwegian (non-Japanese) Michelin star restaurants.
