ABG Sundal Collier ASA acted as Financial Advisor to Arctic Seafarm AS in connection with EMK Capital’s investment in the company

On Tuesday 15 October 2024, Arctic Seafarm AS («Arctic Seafarm», or the «Company») announced a successful directed private placement toward EMK Capital, Kvarøy Fiskeoppdrett AS and selected other existing shareholders (the “Transaction”).
Following the Transaction, EMK Capital will become the majority owner of Arctic Seafarm. The proceeds from the Transaction are securing the financing need for the first phase of Arctic Seafarm’s land-based aquaculture facility, which has a targeted annual salmon production of approximately 10,000 tonnes (~8,000 tonnes HOG).
The facility is expected to release its first smolt in 2026 and be fully operational in 2027. The company has a strategic partnership with traditional sea-based salmon farmer Kvarøy Fiskeoppdrett AS.
