ABG Sundal Collier acted as sole manager and bookrunner to EQL Pharma, a leading provider of niche generics, in connection with their inaugural SEK 350 million bond issue

EQL Pharma AB (“EQL Pharma” or “EQL”), is a fast-growing Swedish pharmaceutical company focused on developing niche generics primarily for the Nordic and European markets. EQL Pharma, which is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm with a market capitalisation of approx. SEK 2 billion, has successfully issued inaugural SEK 350 million senior secured bonds with a tenor of 3 years. Net proceeds from the bond issue will be used to finance the acquisition of a product portfolio, refinance existing debt, and general corporate purposes.
The bond issue received exceptional demand from high quality Nordic and international institutional investors and the transaction was substantially oversubscribed. The senior secured bonds will have a coupon of 3m STIBOR + 4.00% p.a. and will be listed on Nasdaq Stockholm within 12 months.
