ABG Sundal Collier acted as sole financial advisor in connection with the issuance of 7-year EUR 40 million senior secured notes by Småkraft

Småkraft AS, one of the largest operators of small-scale hydropower plants in Europe, has through a fully owned subsidiary successfully closed a EUR 40 million fixed rate loan with a 7-year tenor and non-amortizing profile. The loan is secured with pledges in 18 small-scale hydro plants with a combined P50 power production close to 150 GWh per year. The transaction will further diversify the capital structure of the company and was subscribed for by a club of renowned international investors.
