ABG Sundal Collier acted as sole financial adviser to ICA Gruppen in connection with the sale of Hemtex to Kid ASA

 
On 14 May 2019, ICA Gruppen sold all if its shares in Hemtex to the Norwegian home textiles chain Kid ASA. The purchase price was SEK 226m on a cash and debt free basis. Hakon Invest became a part owner of Hemtex in 2008, and the company has been a wholly owned subsidiary of ICA Gruppen since 2015. Hemtex has 141 stores across Sweden, Finland and Estonia and had sales of SEK 1,020m in 2018.
