ABG Sundal Collier acted as Joint Lead Manager and Bookrunner for a EUR 50m senior secured bond issue by Småkraft AS

Småkraft AS, one of the largest operators of small-scale hydropower plants in Europe, has successfully issued senior secured green bonds in the amount of EUR 50 million with a 5-year tenor. The bond is senior secured and will have pledge in 12 modern hydropower plants across Norway, with an expected annual production of ~160 GWh. The bond is expected to receive a BBBrating from NCR and was priced at 3mE + 260bps. The net proceeds of the bond issue will be used to refinance the company’s existing senior secured bond (SMAKR01) and other general corporate purposes.
