ABG Sundal Collier acted as joint global coordinator and bookrunner to Himalaya Shipping Ltd in its USD 30 million private placement

Himalaya Shipping Ltd, an owner of a eight dual-fuel (LNG) Newcastlemax newbuilds, has completed a USD 30 million private placement, directed towards a few selected Norwegian and international financial and industrial investors. Himalaya Shipping Ltd. will use the funds to pay yard instalments in connection with the construction of the vessels – which will be delivered during 2023 and 2024 – as well as general working capital.
