ABG Sundal Collier acted as Joint Bookrunner on behalf of Star Spike Limited and Pilgrim Global ICAV in connection with the sale of 25,000,000 existing shares, MPC Container Ships (“the Company”) representing approximately 6.3% of the share capital and voting rights in the Company at a price of NOK 22 per share, equivalent to NOK 550 million.
The book was multiple times oversubscribed, with strong demand from both existing and new investors. Following the transaction, Star holds 71,814,143 shares in MPCC, representing 18.2% of the share capital and voting rights in the Company, and Pilgrim holds 18,919,341 shares in 2020, representing 4.8 % of the share capital and voting rights in the Company. Star and Pilgrim have entered into a customary 90 days lock-up with the Bookrunners for their remaining shares in the Company not sold in the Placing.
