On Wednesday 8 June 2022, ENI and HitecVision announced a contemplated sale of approximately 124.8m shares (5.0% of shares outstanding) in Vår Energi. The transaction was completed as an accelerated bookbuilding and priced at NOK 40.20 per share. After the transactions Eni retains an ownership of 63.1% while HitecVision retains 20.7%. Both sellers agreed to a 90-day lock-up after the transaction. The sale marked the first transaction in the company after the IPO in February, increasing the free float from approx. 11% to 16%.
ABG Sundal Collier acted as joint bookrunner in the transaction.
