HB-Care, the leading company within public-granted transportation of citizens in Denmark, owned by CataCap, today announced the sale to Dantaxi, a leading aggregator of taxi services in Denmark, owned by Triton.
With more than 30 years of experience, HB-Care has established a position as a trusted and valued business partner for primarily municipalities and transport agencies. Since CataCap acquired HB-Care, the company has developed a scalable and highly professional platform to lead and consolidate the fragmented special route market. Today, HB-Care is the largest supplier of special route transportation with activities in four out of five Danish regions.
Through the acquisition, Dantaxi will obtain the leading position in a business area which fits strongly into Dantaxi’s existing business following the liberalisation of the Danish taxi market from 1 January 2021. The combined entity will have a strong foundation for continuing profitable growth.
The divestment of HB-Care represents the first exit for Catacap.
