ABG Sundal Collier acted as Sole Financial Advisor in connection with the SEK 200 million private placement in Braathens Regional Airlines

On Friday 15 October 2021, Braathens Regional Airlines (“BRA”) announced the successful completion of a private placement raising SEK 200 million in growth capital. The private placement was directed towards AMF, one of the largest pension funds in Sweden, who will join Braganza as a new shareholder with a 19% ownership stake. The transaction values the Company to approx. SEK 1bn on a post-money basis.
The private placement will both enable BRA to deliver on its planned expansion during the post-COVID re-opening phase while also support the Company to realize its stated ambition of becoming the first net zero airline in the world.
