ABGSC acted as sole financial advisor to Uni Micro and its owners in connection with the majority sale to DNB and the Sparebank 1 Alliance

On Tuesday 24 November 2020, it was announced that DNB and Sparebank 1 Alliance have acquired a 67% stake in Uni Micro. The selling shareholders will retain a combined ownership of 33% following the transaction.Uni Micro was founded in 1986 and has become one of Norway’s leading providers of accounting software to the SME market, growing revenues on average 12% since inception. Their software has consistently been ranked among the best by accountants across Norway.
In relation to the acquisition, CFO of Uni Micro, Kjartan Solvi commented: “The new owners will become an important strategic partner for Uni Micro. The software platform we have developed is a perfect match with our new owners that have substantial distribution capabilities”.
