ABGSC acted as exclusive financial advisor to Compact Carbon Capture (3C) and its shareholders in the sale to Baker Hughes

Today Baker Hughes, an industrial service provider and one of the world’s largest oil field services groups, has announced the acquisition of 100% of the shares outstanding in Compact Carbon Capture, a Norwegian based carbon capture technology company, for an undisclosed consideration. 3C will be granted access to world class technology and development competencies via Baker Hughes, especially within rotating equipment, as well as a global sales and distribution network allowing it to accelerate the technological and commercial development
3C is developing a new and highly advanced CO2 capture technology, introducing several elements to enhance the CO2 removal rates as compared to conventional technology, while offering an attractive customer value proposition by reducing size, capex, lead time and adding modular scalability. The Company has worked together with several partners to bring the technology to TRL 2, such as Fjell Technology Group, Equinor, Prototech and SINTEF, before being acquired by Baker Hughes
