ABGSC acted as sole manager in a NOK 62m private placement in Smartfish AS

ABG Sundal Collier acted as Sole Manager in relation to the NOK 62m private placement in Smartfish AS, a company active in the research, development, production and marketing of advanced and clinically documented nutritional drinks within medical nutrition and consumer health including sports nutrition. The company is ready for full commercialisation of its products and has recently signed strategic partnership agreements with (i) the global healthcare company B. Braun for distribution of Smartfish’s medical nutrition products in 20 countries worldwide and (ii) the Hong Kong based leading pharmaceutical group Jacobson Pharma for distribution of Smartfish’s consumer health products in Asia.
The private placement was completed at a fully diluted pre-money equity valuation of NOK ~450m where Jacobson Pharma and existing shareholders invested NOK 40m and NOK 22m, respectively. The proceeds from the placement will be used to fund further research and development, execution of the strategic partnerships with B. Braun and Jacobson Pharma, as well as for other corporate purposes.
