ABGSC Women in Finance Foundation sponsors Feminvest’s flagship event for female entrepreneurs and investors in Stockholm

On September 20^th, Feminvest, Sweden’s largest hub for female entrepreneurs and investors, hosted the September edition of its recurring flagship event, “Fearless”. The event brought together some 300 participants for an evening full of inspirational speeches, networking opportunities, and a panel discussion. The aim of the event was to help inspire, educate, and bring together entrepreneurs, investors, and members of the finance industry.
The ABGSC Women in Finance Foundation is proud to have been one of the event’s partners. Additionally, ABGSC CEO Jonas Ström, together with ABGSC Corporate Finance Partner Mirjam Medelli, delivered a speech during the event, during which they shared their insight from the finance industry, highlighting the important role that investment banking plays in enabling the flow of capital between entrepreneurs and investors; they also talked about ongoing efforts to address the gender balance in the finance industry, and encouraged women to consider finance as a career path.
Commenting on the event, Jonas Ström stated that: “I want to commend Feminvest for their invaluable work in educating, inspiring, and supporting female entrepreneurs and investors. Together, with our colleagues in the finance industry, we can drive the change needed to diversify our sector.
