ABG Sundal Collier acts as financial advisor to AP7 in connection with the acquisition of 33 percent of the Urban Escape properties in Stockholm CBD

The Swedish pension asset managers AMF and AP7 establish a new joint venture regarding the Urban Escape properties in the city centre of Stockholm, currently owned by AMF. Urban Escape comprises 135,000 sqm distributed over office space, hotels and the shopping mall Gallerian with retail stores, restaurants and other consumer services. This is AP7’s first direct real estate investment. AP7 becomes owner of 33 percent of Urban Escape with AMF remaining as majority owner. Property value as of 31 December 2022 amounted to approximately SEK 22bn. The properties are located in the centre of Stockholm between Hamngatan, Regeringsgatan, Jakobsgatan and Brunkbergstorg and are home to global companies such as Spotify, Microsoft, IKEA and EQT.
