On 13 May 2019, ASPIT announced that they have raised new capital from Kistefos. Kistefos will become a minority shareholder, owning 40 percent of the company through the equity issue and acquisition of secondary shares. The equity issue will enable ASPIT to strengthen its organisation and fund the research and development related to its latest electronic health record (“EHR”) software platform ASPIT Journal.
“ASPIT operates in a dynamic market that faces major changes over the next few years, with increased demands from customers, patients and authorities. ASPIT has made many excellent strategic choices and positioned itself well for the strong growth ahead. The company is commercially and technologically dynamic. ASPIT develops modern and future-oriented solutions adapted to both partners and customers' needs. Kistefos looks forward to contributing to the further development of the company and creating value for customers, shareholders and other stakeholders,” says CEO in Kistefos, Bengt A. Rem.
